Regular Season Round 14: Warwick S. - Goldfields G. 115-87

Date: June 2, 2019
No shocking result in a game when second ranked Senators (12-3) crushed 7th ranked Giants (9-8) in Perth 115-87 on Sunday. They outrebounded Giants 46-27 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Senators looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: Saginaw Valley) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Senators players scored in double figures. American swingman Jay Bowie (196-92, college: Marist) replied with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import forward Patrick Burke (201-96, college: DBU) added 24 points in the effort for Giants. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Senators maintains second position in League with 12-3 record having just ten point less than leader Mackay M. Loser Giants keep the seventh place with eight games lost. Senators will face Buccaneers (#3) in Wonthella in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Giants will play at home against the league's leader Wanneroo (#1) and hope to win that game.
