Everything went according to plan when first ranked Norwood Flames (11-3) defeated 7th ranked West Adelaide Bearcats (5-8) in Woodville 100-87 on Sunday. Norwood Flames looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. West Adelaide Bearcats were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Daniel Webber (191-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Andrew Webber (180-85, college: Armstr.Atlantic) contributed with 19 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Tom Kubank (201, college: Mary) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Bryan Jefferson (201-94, college: Mary) added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for West Adelaide Bearcats. Five Norwood Flames and four West Adelaide Bearcats players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Norwood Flames went down to second position (League) due to points difference. Loser West Adelaide Bearcats keep the seventh place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
