Very significant was Saskatchewan R.'s (#4, 5-3) victory against their close opponent Edmonton S. (4-3) 69-62. American forward Tavrion Dawson (188, college: CS Northridge) stepped up and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Negus Webster-Chan (201, college: Hawaii) chipped in 17 points. Four Saskatchewan R. players scored in double figures. American forward Travis Daniels (202-92, college: Mississippi St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and forward Grandy Glaze (201, college: GCU, agency: Interperformances) scored 3 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Edmonton S.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Saskatchewan R. (5-3) moved-up to second place. Edmonton S. at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Hamilton HB. Saskatchewan R. are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Fraser Valley B. (#6) at home in the next round. Edmonton S. will have a break next round.
