Sixth-ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (15-18) was very close to win a game against first ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (23-11). Rayos de Hermosillo managed to secure only two-point victory 96-94. However their fans expected much easier game. Caballeros de Culiacan was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Jeremy Hollowell (203-94, college: Georgia St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Terrence Drisdom (196-92, college: Cal Poly Pomona, agency: AgainHello) chipped in 22 points. American forward Shane Henry (203, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Epic Sports Consulting LLC) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Barry Chinedu (-94) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Rayos de Hermosillo maintains first place with 23-11 record. Caballeros de Culiacan at the other side keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Los Mochis.
