Bottom-ranked Fraser Valley B. (0-6) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to fourth ranked Edmonton S. (4-3) 93-88 on Friday evening. Edmonton S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Jordan Baker (201, college: Alberta) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Canadian forward Mamadou Gueye (201, college: Alberta) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Four Edmonton S. players scored in double figures. Bosnian-Canadian guard Diego Kapelan (190-87, college: McNeese St., agency: Octagon Europe) produced 24 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Irish-Canadian power forward Levon Kendall (208-84, college: Pittsburgh) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Edmonton S. moved-up to third place, which they share with Hamilton HB. Fraser Valley B. lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Edmonton S. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fraser Valley B. will play against Guelph N. (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
