Regular Season Round 15: Mandurah M. - Lakeside L. 66-93

Date: June 8, 2019
Everything went according to plan in Mandurah where fourth ranked Lightning (12-5) outscored 12th ranked Magic (4-12) 93-66 on Saturday. They outrebounded Magic 52-39 including 22 on the offensive glass. Lightning looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Magic's players. It was a great evening for center Jarrad Prue (198-82) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 19 rebounds. American guard John Isenbarger (188-91, college: Elon) helped adding 14 points and 6 assists. Four Lightning players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Marvin Smith (201-93, college: USC Upstate) with 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Cousteau Kyle (186-1) scored 17 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lightning maintains fourth place in League with 12-5 record. Loser Magic keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. Lightning will face Cougars (#13) in Hamilton Hill in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Magic will play at home against the league's leader Wanneroo and hope to win that game.
