Regular Season Round 16: Warriors - Tridents 79-73

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Tridents' (2-8) road loss to fifth ranked Warriors (4-5) 73-79 on Tuesday. Warriors forced 21 Tridents turnovers. Strangely Tridents outrebounded Warriors 47-35 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Justin Pile who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and guard Shaquan Newton who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side center Rachad Hall responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and center Kiserian Adams (-0) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Tridents' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Warriors have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Pinelands. Tridents lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Warriors is looking forward to face league's second-placed Bridgetown in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Tridents will have a break next round.
