Regular Season Round 12: JKL Dolphins - UCU Canons 54-80

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: UCU Canons (#1) and JKL Dolphins (#5). JKL Dolphins were smashed at home by 26 points 54-80 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of JKL Dolphins. Worth to mention a great performance of center Peter Sifuma who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 rebounds and Tanzanian forward Fadhili Chuma (-95) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Daniel Monoja (197-93) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Brian Namake (-90) scored 10 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UCU Canons (10-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. JKL Dolphins at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. They share the position with KIU Titans and City Oilers.
