Bottom-ranked Luoyang (0-13) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 13th consecutive match to sixth ranked Henan (9-4) 119-101 on Wednesday evening. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 119-101. Henan had a 36-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American point guard Josh-Emmanuel Akognon (180-86, college: CS Fullerton) who scored 43 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds. American point guard Braylon Rayson (175-94, college: Cent Michigan) produced 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Nigerian forward Ebi Ndudi (206-84) added 21 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Luoyang players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Henan moved-up to third place, which they share with Anhui W. and Hunan. Loser Luoyang still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Henan will meet league's second-placed Shaanxi X. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Luoyang will play against Hefei (#9) in Nanjin and hopes to get finally their first victory.
