Eighth-ranked Tigers (9-11) were very close to win a game against third ranked Buccaneers (14-4) in Wonthella. Buccaneers managed to secure only three-point victory 80-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Buccaneers outrebounded Tigers 53-32 including a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American power forward Liam Hunt (201-95, college: Hope International) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Colter Lasher (201-94, college: Houston Baptist) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Connor Mincherton (186-1) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) and guard Jackson Hussey (190-92, college: Pikeville) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. Buccaneers moved-up to second place in League. Tigers at the other side keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Buccaneers' next round opponent will be Lightning (#3) in North Lake, which may be the game of the day. Tigers will play on the road against the league's leader Wanneroo (#1) in Joondalup and hope to win that game.
