Regular Season Round 7: Edmonton S. - Fraser Valley B. 104-95

Bottom-ranked Fraser Valley B. is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fourth ranked Edmonton S. (5-4) 104-95 on Saturday evening. Edmonton S. made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Deondre Parks (185-92, college: S.Dakota St.) who led the winners and scored 30 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Canadian-Saint Lucian guard Adika Peter-McNeilly (190-93, college: Ryerson) accounted for 25 points for the winning side. Guard Marek Klassen (185-92, college: PLNU) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and American forward Tyrrel Tate (196, college: Fayetteville St.) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Fraser Valley B. in the defeat. Four Edmonton S. and five Fraser Valley B. players scored in double figures. Edmonton S. maintains fourth place with 5-4 record. Loser Fraser Valley B. still closes the standings with nine games lost. Edmonton S. will meet league's leader Niagara RL on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fraser Valley B. will play against Saskatchewan R. (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
