Everything could happen in North Lake at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Lightning and 4th placed Senators had identical 13-5 record. This time Lightning used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Perth 76-73 on Saturday night. Center Jarrad Prue (198-82) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American guard John Isenbarger (188-91, college: Elon) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: Saginaw Valley) added 22 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Senators. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lightning (14-5) moved-up to third place in League. Loser Senators dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Lightning will face league's second-placed Buccaneers in Wonthella in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Senators will play at home against Slammers and hope to win that game.
