Regular Season Round 18: Hobart H. - Melbourne T. 102-81

There was a surprise result in Hobart where twelfth ranked Huskies (7-8) outscored higher ranked Tigers (9-6) 102-81 on Saturday. Huskies looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Tigers' players. American guard Jalen Adams (196, college: Olivet) scored 28 points to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Tad Dufelmeier (183-96, college: Concordia Irvine) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Huskies players scored in double figures. Huskies' coach Anthony Stewart felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was naturalized Greek forward Nic Pozoglou (198-96) with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian point guard Will Hickey (183) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. Huskies moved-up to tenth place in League. Loser Tigers dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Huskies will face league's leader Ballarat Miners in Wendouree in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
