Everything went according to plan in Cotton Tree where fourth ranked Rollers (10-2) beat 8th ranked Phoenix (4-6) 95-87 on Saturday. American forward Spencer Parker (201-93, college: Bowling Green, agency: Inception Sports) scored 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Rhys Martin (184-86, college: Nova SE) chipped in 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Rollers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Eric McAlister (204-90, college: Stony Brook) with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds and guard Darnell Robateau (185, college: Cochise CC) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Rollers moved-up to second place in League. Loser Phoenix dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Rollers will face Rip (#8) in Sippy Downs in the next round where they are favorite. Phoenix will play on the road against Brisbane Spartans and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
