Everything went according to plan in Perth where sixth ranked Senators (14-7) beat 14th ranked Slammers (1-20) 89-82 on Sunday. They outrebounded Slammers 38-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. Forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: Saginaw Valley) scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Cody Ellis (202-90, college: St.Louis) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest.
