Everything went according to plan in Northbridge where eighth ranked Suns (11-11) outleveled 10th ranked Redbacks (9-14) 115-77 on Friday. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American guard Javion Blake (190, college: Washburn) fired 33 points (!!!) and 9 assists for the winners. His fellow American import swingman Joshua Braun (193-94, college: GCU) chipped in 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Suns players scored in double figures. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Isaac Gattorna-Hargrave (203-99) added 22 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Redbacks keep the tenth position with 14 games lost. Suns will face higher ranked Flames (#3) in Rockingham in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Redbacks will play on the road against Hawks (#5) in Floreat and hope to win that game.
