We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked Beijing (6-14) defeated at home 9th ranked Wuhan (6-13) 106-95. The hosts were ahead by 16 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 37-25 run, which allowed them to win the game. Beijing outrebounded Wuhan 61-36 including a 26-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. 33 personal fouls committed by Wuhan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American center Michael Holyfield (211-92, college: SHSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 32 rebounds.
