There was no surprise when 5th ranked Guelph N. (3-8) was defeated on the road by second ranked Edmonton S. (8-4) 99-89. Edmonton S. players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American guard Xavier Moon (188, college: Morehead St., agency: Interperformances) nailed 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and forward Grandy Glaze (201, college: GCU, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 15 points and 13 rebounds. Five Edmonton S. players scored in double figures. Edmonton S.'s coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Nigerian-Canadian guard Olumuyiwa Famutimi (196, college: Arkansas) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and DR Congolese-Canadian forward Chadrack Lufile (206-90, college: Wichita St.) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Guelph N. in the defeat.
