Very expected game in Melbourne where 8th ranked Vikings (3-17) were defeated by first ranked Cougars (18-2) 104-90 on Saturday. Cougars outrebounded Vikings 53-37 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 52.8 percentage. American forward Dillon Stith (200-92, college: St.Vincent) fired a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. His fellow American import forward Eric Williams (198-85, college: Tarleton St.) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Cougars' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
