Regular Season Round 7: Puente Alto - Sergio Ceppi 79-67

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Puente Alto. First ranked Puente Alto faced 3rd placed Sergio Ceppi. Host Puente Alto (5-1) defeated guests from Santiago (3-4) 79-67. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Diego Valenzuela (185-94) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Antonio Pinedo (195-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Jose Campos (189-80) answered with 25 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and Venezuelan center Jose-Juan Bravo (202-86, agency: Pro Sports) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sergio Ceppi. Sergio Ceppi's coach G Lara rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Puente Alto maintains first place in Centro with 5-1 record. Sergio Ceppi at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Puente Alto will play against league's second-placed Sportiva Italiana in Valparaiso in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sergio Ceppi will have a break next round.
