CEBL top team - Niagara RL (10-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Fraser Valley B. (3-10) 104-94. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fraser Valley B.. Niagara RL made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Forward Guillaume Boucard (198, college: Carleton) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Ryan Anderson (193, college: Nebraska) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Anderson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side guard Marek Klassen (185-92, college: PLNU) responded with 23 points and 4 assists and Irish-Canadian power forward Levon Kendall (208-84, college: Pittsburgh) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Niagara RL maintains first position with 10-3 record. Fraser Valley B. at the other side stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Niagara RL will again play against bottom-ranked Fraser Valley B. (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite.
