Very important is a home loss of second ranked Spectres (13-6) against sixth ranked Kilsyth Cobras (11-8) on Saturday night. Host Spectres were defeated by Kilsyth Cobras in a tough game in East Burwood 82-87. The best player for the winners was New Zealand power forward Tohi Smith-Milner (206-95, college: Polk State CC) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds. American Isaac Turner (191-92, college: St.Vincent) chipped in 26 points. Four Kilsyth Cobras players scored in double figures. Thomas Wright produced 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and the former international forward Lucas Walker (202-84, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Kilsyth Cobras moved-up to fifth place in League. Spectres at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. Kilsyth Cobras' next round opponent will be Dandenong Rangers (#7) at home. Spectres will play against Eltham Wildcats (#16) and hope to win that game.
