Regular Season Round 20: Sandringham S. - BA CoE 92-88

There was an upset when higher ranked BA CoE (8-12) lost to eighteenth ranked Sabres (5-13) in Cheltenham 88-92 on Sunday. The former international forward David Barlow (205-83, college: MSU Denver) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Swingman Sam McDaniel (198-95, college: ULM) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Sabres' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Tamuri Wigness (184-2) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 assists and Wil Tattersall added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for BA CoE. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sabres maintains eighteenth position in League with 5-13 record. Loser BA CoE dropped to the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. Sabres will face league's second-placed Frankston Blues in Seaford in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
