A very close game took place in Santiago between Quilicura and Stadio Italiano. Second ranked Quilicura (4-2) got a very close victory on the road over one of their biggest challengers Stadio Italiano (1-4). Quilicura managed to escape with a 2-point win 64-62 in the fight for the second place. Quilicura forced 21 Stadio Italiano turnovers. The winners were led by Venezuelan guard Luis Merida (190-92) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and Heder Louis supported him with 18 points and 19 rebounds. Even a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds by forward Clemente Frigerio (190-89) did not help to save the game for Stadio Italiano. Goran Vukasovic (-94) added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Four Stadio Italiano players scored in double figures. Quilicura maintains second position in Centro with 4-2 record having just two point less than leader U.Catolica. Loser Stadio Italiano keeps the third place with four games lost.
