Regular Season Round 26: Hefei - Wuhan 109-125

No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Wuhan (9-15) beat 11th ranked Hefei (6-18) in Nanjin 125-109. The game was mostly controlled by Wuhan. Hefei was better in fourth quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Hefei 53-38 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Wuhan players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Georgian guard Thaddus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who had a triple-double by scoring 42 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 14 assists. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Wuhan's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Antonio Campbell (206-94, college: Ohio) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Elijah Robinson (196-95, college: Emmanuel, GA) added 23 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Wuhan moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Beijing. Hefei lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 18 games lost.
