No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked KIU Rangers (6-8) defeated on the road 9th ranked YMCA Hamstars (2-11) 63-54. KIU Rangers forced 21 YMCA Hamstars turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of center Brenda Aujat (176-94) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Ines Kanyamunza contributed with 17 points for the winners. KIU Rangers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bridget Aber (-1) answered with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Atieno Lavendo added 13 points in the effort for YMCA Hamstars. KIU Rangers moved-up to fifth place. YMCA Hamstars lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keep the ninth position with 11 games lost.
