There was no surprise when 10th ranked Coritiba (1-4) was crushed at home by fifth ranked Franca (3-1) 84-35. Franca held Coritiba to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 56.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Franca forced 27 Coritiba turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Coritiba's players.
