Regular Season Round 13: Guelph N. - Niagara RL 101-90

CEBL round 13 caused change at the leadership position. Fifth defeat of league's leader Niagara RL (12-5) against fifth ranked Guelph N. (5-12) 101-90 was the most important game of the last round. Guelph N. made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Kimbal Mackenzie (185-96, college: Bucknell, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 25 points (made all of his eight free throws). Guard Connor Wood (193-93, college: Carleton) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Ryan Anderson (193, college: Nebraska) answered with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Guillaume Boucard (198, college: Carleton) added 16 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Niagara RL. Four Guelph N. and five Niagara RL players scored in double figures. Niagara RL's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Guelph N. maintains fifth place with 5-12 record. Niagara RL at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Edmonton S.. Niagara RL will play next round against Fraser Valley B. trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Guelph N. will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Hamilton HB on the road.
