Very expected game when 12th ranked Spiders (1-21) were defeated on the road by sixth ranked Sutherland Sharks (14-8) 110-92 on Saturday. Sutherland Sharks outrebounded Spiders 42-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Spiders' players. The best player for the winners was American forward Kyle Steward (201-95, college: UMKC) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds. Callum Norris chipped in 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Hamish Robb produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and forward Ben Basten (201, college: Bloomfield) added 22 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests.
