We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Booval where 11th ranked Ipswich Force (5-12) was defeated by twelfth ranked Brisbane Spartans (7-11) 100-92 on Saturday. Brisbane Spartans looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Ipswich Force's players. The best player for the winners was American point guard Chris Whitehead (175-92, college: Bellarmine) who scored 24 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Callum Dalton (207-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Kyle Harvey (196-91, college: Williams Baptist) produced 29 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Mitchell Poulain added 16 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
