Vivo/Franca recorded the third consecutive victory on Tuesday night. This time they beat Osasco B. (0-3) 82-72 in Sao Paulo. Vivo/Franca made 29-of-32 free shots (90.6 percent) during the game. Vivo/Franca had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American David Jackson (195-82, college: Penn St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Argentinian Leonel Schattmann (193-87) helped adding 22 points. The best for the losing side was American point guard Dontrell Brite (175-94, college: Mount Olive) with 17 points and 4 assists and Argentinian power forward Nicolas Gimenez (203-94) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Osasco B.'s coach Joao Lourenco rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
