The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Niagara RL as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Niagara RL defeated 6th ranked Fraser Valley B. at home 95-82. American forward Sam Muldrow (208, college: S.Carolina) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian forward Guillaume Boucard (198-90, college: Carleton) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Niagara RL's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Jalen Kendrick (201-91, college: UNLV) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Irish-Canadian power forward Levon Kendall (208-84, college: Pittsburgh) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Niagara RL and five Fraser Valley B. players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Fraser Valley B. lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Fraser Valley B. will play next round against strong Edmonton S. trying to get back on the winning streak.
