The game in Kampala was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Betway Power (14-7) played at the court of 6th ranked KIU Titans (10-8). Betway Power managed to secure a 6-point victory 65-59 on Friday. Betway Power held KIU Titans to an opponent 22.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 33.3 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a great evening for forward Makala Libe (-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Afidra Isaac (-85) helped adding 12 points and 5 rebounds. Francis Kasinde (-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and DR Congolese forward Denis Balungu (-95) scored 8 points and 14 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Betway Power. They moved-up to fourth place. KIU Titans lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost.
