Leader Aces delivered the sixteenth victory. This time they beat 6th ranked Dream (5-18) 94-90 in Atlanta. Aces made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Aces especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Forward Dearica Hamby (190-93, college: Wake Forest, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (203-91) accounted for 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Aces' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Jessica Breland (190-88, college: UNC) came up with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and German center Marie Gulich (196-94, college: Oregon St.) added 15 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Dream in the defeat. Four Aces and five Dream players scored in double figures. Aces maintains first place with 16-9 record. Dream lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 18 games lost. Aces will have a break next round. Dream will play at home against Mercury (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
