An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Minneapolis. Fourth ranked Lynx faced their close opponent Liberty. Host Lynx (11-9) defeated guests from New York City (8-15) 89-73. Lynx players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Odyssey Sims (175-92, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 assists. Guard Danielle Robinson (178-89, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Lynx players scored in double figures. Australian guard Rebecca Allen (188-92, agency: LBM Management) answered with 28 points and guard Brittany Boyd (175-93, college: California) added 4 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Liberty. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lynx maintains fourth place with 11-9 record which they share with defeated Liberty. Liberty lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Dallas W. and Indiana F.. Lynx will play against league's leader Mystics in Washington in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Liberty will play at home against Wings and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
