Regular Season Round 10: Corinthians - Uniao Corinthians 60-55

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Corinthians (7-2) beat at home 9th ranked Uniao Corinthians (1-5) 60-55 on Thursday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Guard Daniel Von-Haydin (192-99) notched 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Italo Bonizioli (207-1) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Even 8 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists by Joao Ramos (198-99) did not help to save the game for Uniao Corinthians. Guard Victor Brum (191-99) added 18 points for lost side. They have a solid four-game winning streak. Corinthians moved-up to third place, which they share with Franca. Loser Uniao Corinthians dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Corinthians will meet at home league's leader Pinheiros in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Uniao Corinthians' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sao Paulo Paulistano.
