Very expected game when 12th ranked Cearense (1-11) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Corinthians (9-4) 81-71 on Tuesday. Corinthians forced 30 Cearense turnovers and had a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Daniel Von-Haydin (192-99) scored 41 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Italo Bonizioli (207-1) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Corinthians' coach used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Vinicius Landim (-99) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and Regis Linhares (-1) scored 17 points. Corinthians maintains fifth position with 9-4 record. Cearense lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 11 games lost.
