Regular Season Round 1: Shinshu BW - Hiroshima D. 77-81

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Nagano where Shinshu BW (1-1) was defeated by Dragonflies (1-1) 81-77 on Saturday. Dragonflies shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) chipped in 25 points. American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and the other American import center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) added 16 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Shinshu BW's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
