Gunma edged Sendai 89ers at home 81-79. Gunma looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Gunma's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Masaharu Kataoka (190-85) produced 25 points and American center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) added 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks respectively for lost side. Four Sendai 89ers players scored in double figures. Sendai 89ers will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Gunma will try to continue on its current victory against Sendai 89ers at home.
