Gunma edged Sendai 89ers at home 81-79. Gunma looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Gunma's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Masaharu Kataoka (190-85) produced 25 points and American center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) added 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks respectively for lost side. Four Sendai 89ers players scored in double figures. Sendai 89ers will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path.
