The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Orange Vikings (1-1) in Takamatsu on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Kagawa FA (1-1) 92-64. Kagawa FA dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Orange Vikings' 26. They outrebounded Orange Vikings 48-30 including a 40-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) produced 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Puerto Rican center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kagawa FA will meet Bambitious Nara (#5) on the road in the next round. Orange Vikings will play against Nishinomiya S. (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
