Regular Season Round 4: Tokyo CR - Kanazawa 81-60

Tokyo CR has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Kanazawa (1-3) 81-60. They outrebounded Kanazawa 43-28 including 33 on the defensive glass. Tokyo CR players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kanazawa's players. It was a very good performance for American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Tenyoku You (194-88) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Crawford is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Kanazawa. Kanazawa's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Tokyo CR left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Kanazawa. Tokyo CR's next round opponent will be higher ranked Aisin AW (#5) in Aichi and it may be quite challenging game.
