Regular Season Round 4: Tokyo CR - Kanazawa 70-89

Kanazawa has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Tokyo, where they outplayed Tokyo CR (1-3) 89-70 on Saturday. Kanazawa forced 21 Tokyo CR turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) who added 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Kanazawa players scored in double figures. Kanazawa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and Senegalese Elhadji Seck (204-90, college: Idaho, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Kanazawa left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Tokyo CR. Kanazawa will face higher ranked Saga B. (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
