Regular Season Round 3: Alfinden - Maristes Ademar 87-71

There was an upset when Maristes Ademar (3-1) lost to Alfinden (1-3) in Zaragoza 71-87 on Saturday. Alfinden outrebounded Maristes Ademar 42-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for point guard Roberto Perez (192-93) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Wilmer Peraza contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Roger Franch answered with 13 points and Jordi Gimenez added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for Maristes Ademar. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Alfinden will face SESE (#5) in Barcelona in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Maristes Ademar will play at home against Boet and hope to win that game.
