Regular Season Round 3: JAC Sants - Olivar 88-60

JAC Sants used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Zaragoza 88-60 on Sunday night. JAC Sants dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Olivar's 26. JAC Sants forced 26 Olivar turnovers. Olivar was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for swingman Pablo Beiran (191-92) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Roger Renau (184-97) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four JAC Sants players scored in double figures. Danish guard Gustav Knudsen (203-3) answered with 12 points and 5 rebounds and forward Alejandro Vicente (-90) added 10 points in the effort for Olivar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JAC Sants will face Tarragona on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olivar will play against Salou (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
