Regular Season Round 3: Dos Hermanas - Matenglish 50-52

Not a big story in a game when Dos Hermanas (1-1) was edged at home by Matenglish (1-1) 52-50 on Sunday. Matenglish dominated down low during the game scoring 34 of its points in the paint compared to Dos Hermanas' 14. It was a good game for guard Jaime Macias (190-93) who led his team to a victory with 16 points. Iago Paz contributed with 10 points for the winners. Forward Fernando Cotan (194-91) answered with 17 points and Ignacio Llano added 9 points in the effort for Dos Hermanas. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Matenglish will have a break next round. Dos Hermanas will play on the road against Torta del Casar (#8) in Caceres and hope to win that game.
