Regular Season Round 4: Iwate Big Bulls - Saitama B. 64-75

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Saitama Broncos (1-3) defeated on the road 9th ranked Iwate Big Bulls (1-3) 75-64 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Shion Serikyaku who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and Bahamas forward Mark St.Fort (200-88, college: Warner) who added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American Justin Herold (203-91, college: Sonoma St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds and Canadian forward Erik Nissen (206-95, college: Acadia) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Saitama Broncos left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Iwate Big Bulls. Saitama Broncos will face higher ranked Shizuoka (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
