The game with biggest result difference took place in Zagreb. Local Tresnjevka (0-2) was outscored by Slovenian Celje (2-0) 85-59 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Celje led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Celje forced 25 Tresnjevka turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Swedish guard Paulina Hersler (190-94, college: Florida) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Celje players scored in double figures. Center Josipa Pavic (189-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Nika Muhl (178-1) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 assists and 5 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Celje will meet at home Orlovi (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tresnjevka will play against Buducnost in Podgorica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
