Regular Season Round 2: Orlovi - Montana 63-82

No shocking result in a game in Banja Luka where Bulgarian Montana 2003 (2-0) smashed Bosnian Orlovi (0-2) 82-63 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Montana 2003. Orlovi managed to win fourth quarter 20-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montana 2003 dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Orlovi's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Orlovi's players. Power forward Dimana Georgieva (188-88) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Hristina Ivanova (183-89) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) during the contest. Montana 2003's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Montenegrin guard Jelena Nikpaljevic (175-94) responded with 28 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Andjela Gligic (157-0) scored 16 points and 6 assists. Montana 2003 will meet at home Banovici (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Orlovi will play against Celje and hope to win that game.
