The game between closely ranked teams ended with Melilla Baloncesto's (1-2) road loss to Carramimbre (3-0) in Valladolid 70-78 on Friday. It was a good game for Canadian guard Kimbal Mackenzie (185-96, college: Bucknell, agency: Two Points) who led his team to a victory with 14 points. Bartley IV is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Carramimbre players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Carramimbre will face Palma (#15) in S'Arenal in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Melilla Baloncesto will play at home against Caceres Basket (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
