Regular Season Round 4: Tarvas - TLU/Kalev 80-76

Very expected game when bottom-ranked TLU/Kalev (0-4) lost to seventh ranked Tarvas (2-2) in Rakvere 76-80 on Friday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Quite impressive performance for American center Tommy Hamilton-IV (210-94, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international guard Rain Veideman (192-91) contributed with 20 points and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. American center Michael Buchanan (213-94, college: USC Upstate) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and the former international point guard Tanel Sokk (187-85) added 21 points in the effort for TLU/Kalev. Tarvas maintains seventh position with 2-2 record, which they share with Parnu. Loser TLU/Kalev still closes the standings with four games lost. Tarvas will face league's leader VEF Riga on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. TLU/Kalev will play against Ventspils (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
